Sick from OD'ing on Birth control?
    Hi there,

I took two birth control pills (Seasonique) tonight because the first one tasted sugary (yes, I'm that paranoid). Ever since (5pm) I have been puking my guts out. Is this connected? Coincidence?

Yeah, double dosing on BCP can do that to you.

Thanks so much for that link!! I learned the following:

    1. You shouldn't be taking Seasonique if you are overweight: strike 1!
    2. You shouldn't be taking Seasonique if you are a smoker, or you shouldn't be smoking while taking Seasonique: strike 2.
    3. It says that you are supposed to take two if one is missed.
    4. My symptoms precisely match those of a Seasonique overdose.
    5. I feel like a dummy.

For some reason it seems easier or more instinctive to look out for the other guy. We seldom think of being proactive for ourselves :). Your doctor should have gone over all that with you, and in case he/she did not, the Pharmacist is supposed to review with you how to take the pills and what the side effects are, including what to do if you miss a dose.

They always offer, then I say I'll read the pamphlet. And I did when I first switched to this one, but those just aren't things I remembered. Glad it's all solved now though!
