I think there are some details missing. What do you mean by 'filing for you'?

Are you living together or separated? If you are separated, why?

Please use punctuation to help make understanding your question a bit easier.

Are you asking about immigrating to the US?

How long has your husband been in the US? Is he a citizen or an immigrant/student/work visa/etc.

Do you truly want to be with someone who has been unfaithful to you?
Do you really want to move away from everyone and everything you know to be in a strange place with him?
Do you think things will get better if you live with him?

How about filing for a divorce in Jamaica, and then worry about taking a vacation to the States.

You were married in Jamaica weren't you?

    Denechia,

Why not try this on your own. More than likely, the United States recognizes valid marriages from Jamaica.

Take your marriage certificate with you and pay a visit to either a U.S. Embassy or Consulate and see what they say.

They should certainly know what you are and are not entitled to by virtue of marrying an American.
