    Another roommate problem
    :confused::mad:

    Hello,

    OK, I have an issue with what is going on with roommates and want to kick my roommates girlfriend out. However, she is not on the lease, she does not pay bills, she just lives there and receives mail there. Something happened this weekend. A couple of friends came over we partied, got drunk and I offered for my friend to stay. I fell asleep my roommates girlfriend started to question my friend on who he is why he is there. He tried to get my attention buying walking up stairs to get me and she gripped him up and through him out of the house. Before all this happened she got him a pillow and showed him where he could stay. Before she threw him out he was preparing some food because he was not feeling good. She got mad I guess? But she has no right to kick anyone out of the house. Right? Do I have the authority or how should I go about getting her out of the house. I reside in Florida, and live in a town home that is leased. Should I contact the landlord? Also come to find out she tried to get him a DUI by calling the police to report him. He did not get in the car he sat on my back porch until someone came to pick him up. She also has prior records of assault and battery quite a few years ago. Please chime in if you have any input on what I should do, maybe its time for me to move out...

    Who IS on the lease? What does the lease say about other adults staying there?

    If your roommate is on the lease, then you would have to prove some violation of the lease to get either the g/f or both of them out. And this would have to be handled by the landlord.
