    Let x vary from say -5 to 5 in steps of 1 and find the value of the corresponding y. Now you have a table.

    Graph each (x,y) pair and connect the dots. Remember that the graph extends to +-infinity which is basically your paper.

    Pick a scale based on the numbers found for x and y. Pick an easy scale to graph.
