    Hampton bay remote light
After installing our hampton bay ceiling fan I noticed that when we first turn on the light, either via the wall switch or the remote, it is slow to come on. It starts dim an then goes to bright.

My wife and I prefer for the light to come on immediately.

    My questions are:

    1. Is this by design?

    2. If so, can it be changed to light immediately?

    Thanks

    I'm sorry to say:

    1. I don't know. I would go back to the store and ask them to show you a display and see if it does the same thing. I've never encountered it.

    2. No.

Additional thought: maybe the "dim" button is stuck.
