Statute of limitations on divorce filed 2 years ago
My husband took my son, locked me out of the house and filed for divorce 2 years ago. I filed an answer and asked for a hearing. The court said if we can't come to an agreement, I need to file for an evidentiary hearing. We can not come to an agreement and he has taken control over the house, the vehicles and me and my son. What is next? Is there a statute on divorce after filed?

Follow the advice of the court, and file for an evidentiary hearing.

What do you mean he has taken control over you and your son. You said he locked you out, and took your son.

    Can you clarify?

Well he only did what you allowed him to do. Obviously no attorney, first and biggest mistake. You need to continue into divorce and ask for house, alimony and custody of the child.

Has there even been a custody hearing for the child, if not, he has no more claim on child than you do
