    Does a 01 civic ex have a regular fuel filter
    Does a 01 civic ex have a regular fuel filter or do I have to replace the hole pump assembly? The car can be driving fine and then all the sudden it doggs down and you lose all power. If you pull over and let it sit for a little while it will start up and drive for awhile before doing it again. Please Help

    ayspro, your Civic does not have a separate fuel filter. The fuel pump and strainer needs to be changed.
