Haha I'd be interested in knowing if there is a way to control this...
I think as they get older they will sleep in later. Maybe he just has to go pee, and then he will go back to sleep?
Maybe you could try a bit more excersise later in the day or early evenning?
Try keeping him up later at night :p

Do you want him to sleep until 6 a.m. or not wake you up until six? Did you accidentally train him to wake you up at for a.m.

Make certain that you aren't asking him to wait too long between potty trips. If you put him to bed at 9 p.m. don't be surprised if he needs to go to the bathroom before 6 a.m.

I put a blanket over my dogs crates at night so it stays nice and dark, it tricks them into thinking it is earlier than it actually is ;)

How do I get my kids to get up by 6 AM?

cadowling, make sure there are no potty issues, then don't let them out of their crate until it's time to get up.

Hi there, I am wondering what the normal amount of sleep for a 9-month old Staffordshire Terrier is. She usually sleeps 12-15 hours a day, and it's starting to worry me at this point. She eats and potties normally. And acts normally, she's incredibly sweet and cuddly.
