    What about those living off the GI bill and VA disability with dependents
    What about those living off the GI bill and VA disability with dependents who recently moved cross-country can they get EIC or any refund at all? Also Can that person fill taxes with no W2 or 1099?

    Sorry, but both GI Bill benefits and VA disability are NOT earned income. Hence, these families have NO income that qualifies them for either the Eaned Income Credit nor the Child Tax Credit.
