    Can credit cards company garnished your income tax
    I went to small claims court for a credit card debt, there was a judgement against me for unpaid credit cards. Can the credit card company garnished my income tax refund

    I've heard that there is a way to do this but it's extremely complicated and most creditors won't waste the time.

    However, if you have the refund directly deposited into your account, they will be able to freeze your account and garnish anything that is put into it.
