    Gas Dryer Won't Heat
    I have a Kenmore gas dryer model No. 11070901990 Serial No. MJ4402385 and it does not won't to heat. The dryer will start, tumble and stop. Your assistance will be most helpful. What can I do to fix this?

    Donna:

    On the left top under the link Appliances, there is a sticky or how to troubleshoot a gas dryer. Most likely the ignitor is bad.

    Under burner assembly, item 4 or 4A Ignitor. About $30. SPD is not necessarily the cheapest.

    Check for a glow and then pilot and then ignition.

    When installing, don't touch element with your fingers.
