Monitor dies when turned on for 1-2 seconds
I have a Cornea Flat screen monitor (it is only about 2 years old). The problem I have is that when I shut down the computer for the night, the next morning when I try to bring up the system, the monitor powers down. I have tried unplugging the adaptor from the monitor, waiting a few seconds, and re-plugging in the adaptor. This has worked in the past, but today it did not. Today as soon as the screen shows something the monitor powers down. Have any of you experienced this? Is this the monitor's way of telling me that I need a new one or is the adaptor going bad?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
