    Fiancée to file for Green Card through employer
    My fiancée is about to initiate the green card application process through his employer.

    If I we get married after his green card petition is filed, would I still be able to request a green card with him or should we be married at the time his petition is filed.

    I am in the US as an H1B.

    Get married before I-140 is filed.
