    Stand-alone shower BARELY gets warm
I just moved in with my aunt and uncle to help out after my uncles surgery. I went to hop in the shower, the water was freezing! I let it run for about 10 minutes, really didn't get any better. I ended up having to take a cold shower, not fun during the winter. I've visited them before during the summer, so maybe I never noticed it before since I'd leave the temperature down a little when it's hot out. They said it's always like this, they don't know why or how to fix it, and just to deal. Well, I'm not a fan of freezing my butt off just to be clean. The shower is a couple years old, they had it put in after owning the hours for about 8 years. The shower head is a Delta 1400 series. It has two screws to take off the circular metal piece, and it's a lever. I've read a whole bunch of other questions and answers, and just want to know what would be right for this specific model so that I don't screw anything up. Thanks.

Leaky shower and barely any hot water. [ 1 Answers ]

For the past week, I've been getting little to no hot water to the shower. There's hot water to the tub, but not when I turn on the shower. So I replaced the shower lever cartridge today (pic below), but that didn't fix the problem. The tub has also been leaking water for a long time; not...

Just warm water - In the stand-alone shower [ 9 Answers ]

My question is just slightly different than briang30's so forgive me for starting a new post. We recently moved into a 25 year old home in August of last year. The master bathroom stand-alone shower will get warm, but not hot. Also it takes about 7 minutes for it to get to the "warm" mark. ...
