    Typically no, or if possible, you won't be able to get the complete copy. Mental health records are handled much differently than regular medical records.

    What kind of records? The diagnostic ones? The case notes?

    Have you been meeting with a therapist or psychologist or psychiatrist?

    How long?

    Do you know your diagnosis?

    Why have you been told no, that you can't have your records?

    J_9 is correct. Mental records are handled entirely differently from medical records.
