Break up lines and what they really mean
For starters, this was kind of a long distance thing but we saw each other every other weekend. I did all the driving (I know, sucker) but it do to his current situation. He was the one who was brining up our future all the time. He wanted us together, as a family, yada yada. But right after the holidays I got these multiple breakup lines in one breakup. "I don't think this will work out", "It's to hard", "I jumped in to soon and wasn't ready" " I haven't dealt with my feelings from my divorce yet" "I love you, I know I love you, I want you, I just don't know what to do or what I'm doing", You're so sweet, you are awesome, and I hurt you and didn't want to" all the time saying I'm sorry and I love you over and over! By the way, this was all done by text! He texted again a few days later and was saying how he loved me again and he was sorry and was just lost and needed to work on some things. What the heck?

Ignore his texts.
But to answer your question.
"I think we should start seeing other people" It means they already have and don't want to feel guilty anymore

My only advice is to RUN away from him. He's not in love with you, he's a dog. He only wants to hang on to you by a thread "in case" he doesn't find someone he likes better or if he gets bored. Who knows, he may already be seeing someone else.
Don't contact him anymore. Dust yourself off, keep moving forward and do not waste your time looking back at where you have been. If it did not work out the first time, it will not work out in the future.

Ignore his texts.
He's an emotional coward who for some reason decided he wanted out.
Then he throws you the 'I love you' crumbs to keep you around in case his so called selfsearching backfires on him.
No contact and go live your own life.

He just wants to break up with you in "peace"..
Maybe he found someone else, whom he thinks is the one for him.. or he's got some personal issues which he needs to sort out.
You could possibly send him a last text, that's a test, his own words will go against him... as he knows you love him and you'll persist of keeping him.. WORDS ARE LIKE A BULLET / PULL THE TRIGGER !
I love you, I valued you a lot.. You need to work things out so go ahead. I honor your request..
Don't see things through your heart, it will worsen your situation.
If you really love a person than nature will bound to give you your love but the main thing is to keep patience and belief in god..
DON'T GO AGAINST THE LAWS OF NATURE !
-don't run after things that might not be yours..
THE MORE YOU THINK OF HIM / SPENT MOMENTS IT WILL STAB YOUR STRAIGHT IN YOUR HEART / GO SOFT / GO NC IT WILL HELP YOU OUT ! IT SHOULD INDEED HELP YOU OUT !

Thank you! This does help a lot! He does have issues and have told him what you just said during the breakup. If he is mine he will come back if not then there is someone better out there for me :)

The bottom line is that he's given up on the relationship and wants to go his separate way.
Every line that he feeds you ties back to breaking up, so you don't need to go into greater detail about the precise meaning of his lines.
Time to move on with your life to bigger and better things.

I don't think the website helped you.. lol your ex obviously still loved you and I'm sure you fed her some BS to make her come back.. "I'll never do it again etc etc." don't give people false hope!
My advice is to go no contact! He made his choice.. You snooze you lose I say even if he decides he wants you back why would you? He should have known better and since he was an idiot now you get to find someone MUCH better than him :)
