    How do you wire up termostat wires on a split system carrier furnace
    I just got a house and it has a carrier furnace model # 58DR 125-BA and some of the t'stat wires were not hooked up does any one know what termanals for the color wire and there is a 2 wire coming from the unit out side where do I hook them up to?

    The 2 wire s that go out side go to the contacter in the outside unit 1 to each side

    The wires are hooked up on everything but the furnace

    You need to pull the tstat and write down what color wire is tagged to what post of the tstat,, example
    Red wire to rh
    Yellow wire to Y post
    Green wire to G post
    White wire to W post
    If you have it blue wire to c(common) post

    You will need or probably already have a jumper from rh to rc

    Then go tofurnace and hook the other end of wires the same way to circuit board if it has one

    The 2 wires that went outside tag (1) to the same post that yellow wire went to

    And the other to common or where the blue wire fron tstat went to
