My 5 month old basset won't eat after I wormed her
My 5 month old basset hound won't eat her food well she eats maybe about 2 cups in the past two days.We just got her a feww weeks ago and she is very shy and freaks out when someone comes into the room but she is doing awsome with her potty training. I noticed that she has lost some of her baby teeth so I wet her food for her but after I wormed her she puked up a 12 inch round worm and this morning she pooped out some worms as well but she has ate maybe a cup and a half of food since then also she is very playful but has the worst breath could someone please help?

My first suggestion would be a vet, I know you are looking for answers on here but a vet could tell you a thousand times more what we could.

I would recommend getting a faecal exam done to determine what worms she has. You just have to take in a sample in to the vets with you when you go, I get little containers from the chemist (pharmacy) to scoop the poop in.

The fact that she is not eating much could be due to both the worms and the teething.

Catsmine (another member) had the idea of making chicken bullion ice cubes... it's great on their sore gums.

HOw long ago was her first de wormer? Honestly I don't think I can say that I have EVER seen a dog puke up worms before...
Usually when they have worms they are ravenous little eaters. But I have seen dogs not eat dog food, and opt for rocks which can get pretty expensive very fast. Our Am Staff was so infested with worms when we got him, you could actually hear the rocks in his stomach when he walked. I would follow Shaz's advice and seek a professional. She could be ill and not feeling up to par from the worms.
Puppies always have bad breath lol.
You could get greenies that are specifically designed for puppies. Also a great time to start brushing teeth so she will be used to it when she is older! They have specifically designed puppie tooth paste and brushes.

Oh and if you already have the fecal specimin before you go to the vet, then it will save you an extra trip and less money! You can keep refridgerated (:D) until you can get her to the vet! But I think the fresher the specimen the better! How ever if she is not eating then poops may get fewer and farther between.

It's not uncommon to see the worms in the stool after worming as they are dying and releasing themselves from the intestines.

However if she is not eating, you should take her to the vet. How are her stools now? Sometimes it takes more than one deworm as infestations can be pretty bad. Take a stool sample in and if that comes back negative, you should get her in to be looked at.
