Washing machine spin cycle - freezing temps
We have recently had sub-freezing weather for the past two weeks. This is VERY unusual for the part of the country in which I live. My washing machine is on a glassed-in back porch. I decided I was going to wash clothes the other day, and found out my hoses were frozen. Now that it has warmed up, I reconnected the hoses, and the machine filled up with water like usual. Only, this time, when the machine was full of water, the mechanical parts of the washer that articulate and spin did not activate at all. Any suggestions? Could a frozen drain pipe be causing this?
