    Shower hum
    Hello.
Single knob shower. Hum in walls when knob is in a certain position. Could it be the diverter or balancing cartridge and does this need to be replaced or clean? Thanks.

Hum= vibration. Shut the water off, open up the valve look for any trash and turn the water back on to flush out the open valve. Reassemble and test. Hum all gone now? Good luck, Tom
