I have replaced my timing belt in my car : Accord 95, yesterday.
When I drive my car now, I feel there is a slow in the gear compared to
Before ( especially the 1st and the 2nd gear), and it seems that
The momentum of the engine is not like before.
I talked to the mechanic about that, but he was very certain that this has
Nothing to do with the timing belt changing since he installed correctly.
I searched in the web, and found a site, which says that installing timing
Belt incorrectly causes the symptoms I got now. Now, I am confused,
And don't know who shall I believe, any advises or suggestions ?
Is it true that replacing the timing belt incorrectly might cause these issues ?

"Never buy on seller's advice." Sounds like the timing is off (retarded). I'd take it back to him and ask him to check, for free, the timing with an induction timing light:

Incorrectly installing the timing belt can do massive damage to the pistons and valves.

Spark plugs are not firing precisely at the right time. The distributor can be loosened and rotated counter-clockwise to advance the timing and clockwise to retard it. This is done while the engine is running and a timing light illuminates the proper timing marks on the pulley.
