My 8 year old sister is slow at everything she does like getting changed or when being told to do something but especially eating. She complains every meal time and doesn't even like to drink her juice, this moning she took a good 50mins to eat a very small bowl of cereal... help?

Everybody moves at a different pace. Your idea of how much time it should take to do a chore, may be slow by another's standards. No two people are alike.

She sounds like a picky eater, and 50 min. is a long time to get through a bowl of cereal. But, your mother is probably keeping a good eye on her.

A friend of mine eats so slowly, that at family gatherings, her mother still puts her food in the microwave to heat it up, long after everybody has finished.

You might just let your mom know that you're concerned to set your mind at ease.
