Can't sell on Ebay
Hi there,
I was wondering why Ebay isn't letting me post a sale. I verified my account, and linked up with Paypal. What other reasons could there be for not letting me post a sale? It let me post one, but not the second one.
Thanks.

Hey, Momma!
Nice to "see" you again!
I don't know about eBay, because I don't use it.
However, why are you using it, please?
Thanks!

I don't want to state the obvious but did you contact Ebay or look at the FAQ?

Why would you want to know why she using eBay? How does that help with a solution?

Because I get much better results using other sites.
eBay costs money to use. The sites that I use don't cost any money and can get much better exposure than using eBay.
Yes, I'm not helping with the solution to her using eBay, but just wanted to suggest some other alternatives.
Thanks!

Ah I see. eBay is the most global and well known but you are taking your chances since the scammers are a-plenty. Your local Kijiji is nice and local and you make the exchange in person. Any others would be less well-known and bids would be fewer.

Hey Momma, fair warning that it's not always a great idea to try to sell on eBay if you don't know what you're doing. In fact, I stopped buying from newbies, because while I wanted to give them a chance, I had too many problems with things going wrong. Usually due to either not giving a carp (which I doubt is the case with you) or just not knowing how to handle things.
And if your auction isn't "up to snuff" it may not attract the experienced people -- you can't help attract the other newbies and scammers, so you want to make sure you attract good buyers into the competition. Plus you could just get yourself screwed over easily. eBay's actually pretty safe if you know what it's about, but newbies can easily be taken advantage of. (I'm assuming you're new at selling - what you said just sounded like it.)
There's other stuff I can help you with if you want to sell there. Unfortunately this is one question I can't answer. I haven't sold anything for over a year cause I got sick of eBay's idiocy. They've changed SOOO many things, and definitely not for the better. Unless it's one of the changed rules that I don't know about yet, I don't know any reason why you should be able to list one thing, but not a second.
What kind of error did you get? Did it actually say you weren't allowed to list it? Perhaps something in the auction itself triggered something. (If I had details I could maybe tell you. You can always PM if you don't want to do that publicly.) Or did it just simply not work?
Oh, you may want to get confirmed at Paypal. Being verified there isn't terribly important. (Unless that's not what you mean?)

My eBay and paypal are confirmed and verified. I've made MANY purchases via Ebay. And about 15 sales. I've never had any issues such as this before. I will try again, perhaps it was overloaded last night or something. I will update. Thank you to everyone for the assistance.

I know they have introduced limits on the numbers of certain items that can be listed in one go.
I got caught by that when I was selling a whole load of old Microsoft software, all 100% factory sealed gear as well ;)

Hmm, sorry, talking about getting verified and all that made it sound like you'd just started. :-)
Since you only tried listing 2 things, I doubt it was a limit. But eBay does have glitches sometimes, AND they also have down times. In fact, I was just on there the other night buying something and vaguely remember seeing something about some maintenance time coming up, but I was done so I didn't look when it was.
