    Multiply the top numbers, you get 6
    Multiply the bottom numbers, you get 12
    6/12

    Now reduce.

    Yes, chb, it does. I was only asking that jenny finish her homework herself.

    You see 6 goes into 6 one time. So 1 is the numerator

    Then 6 goes into 12 two times. So 2 is the denominator

    You get 1/2
