What was before Alpha and afterOmega?

It is my understanding that Alpha means beginning and Omega means the end, therefore there is nothing BEFORE Alpha or AFTER Omega.

That's the same as saying what comes before A and after Z as that's what they represent in the Greek alphabet

How about eternity? There was no apparent beginning, nor will there be an apparent end to eternity. God, according to the Bible, was the beginning of time, and He will be the end, i.e. Alpha and Omega (Revelations 8:1). However, I have never been able to find any reference to a period before and after God.

This is not really a topic for the math forum. Post it in the Religion and Spirituality section. I doubt if you do find a reference since God has no beginning nor end. That's where "I am the Alpha and the Omega' comes in.
