Will the authorities stop me if I go back in the country?
Hi... as I was saying earlier I wanted to leave Canada with my dauther. Well, now I am in Europe, in a divorce trial fighting from here with my ex for my daughter. In this time, he filled an application to the government saying that I kidnapped my dauther. However, I have a permission letter to travel from him and because of this the government did not accept his application. Now he's going to open a new trial in my country. Right now I need to take a trip to Canada and I don't know if someone would stop me or not... or if my ex would be announced about my presence. If someone knows something about this, please help me!!

At this moment, the past having nothing to do with anything, is there any Order which says you cannot leave the Country? Are you intending to take your child? Were you arrested?

Hard to say more without locating and reading your previous thread.

I was never arrested and it isn't there any Order... however he's been saying that he has something from the Ontario court which if I step foot in Canada I'll be arrested... regardin my case... I left Canada with my daughter using a permission letter from my ex. We were never together since the child was conceived... he didn't care much... however now he's fighting me

It's going to depend on whether you believe him or not concerning being arrested in Canada.

What would you be arrested for?

To me it sounds like parental kidnapping. From the sounds of it he only gave permission for a vacation and not for a move. In doing that it IS parental kidnapping. Did you tell the courts that you weren't planning on going back ?

Yes... everybody knows I'm not planning to go back to live there... he knows it too. I don't know if it's really parental kidnapping. Our daughter was always with me. We were never living together ,not even when I was pregnant. He didn't care at all.

So your saying he gave you permission to move to another country or was it permission to visit ?
