Giving Birth in H4 visa status, insurance availability, clinic cost
    Hello,

I'm about to go living to US with my wife which is pregnant, I'm eployed through a H1b visa and my wife has gotten an h4 visa.

We will move in a couple of months when I start working and by then she will be about 5 months pregnant.

I'm worried because this was not planned, and as I have no chance to delay our relocation to the us, now I will face the expenses of a birth in a Texas Hospital and I don't know if I'll be able to face this bill.

Do you know if the insurance company will accept me to inscribe her in our situation to cover the pergnancy bill? (even with a deductible?)

Can anyone recommend me a low cost clinic in Dallas TX to give birth?

Do you know if any Hospital give credit? (since I'm arriving so I don't have credit buro)

Do anyone know if I can apply for madicaid and then pay it in few months? (even with an interest rate)

No insurance company will cover someone that is already pregnant for coverage. Most will not even insure her at all for any coverage at all.f

As Fr_Chuck mentioned, that fact that she is already pregnant can often be a challenge in getting insurance coverage. Below are a couple of websites that may offer some more information.
Also, you might check into Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Service, and Planned Parenthood for additional suggestions.

The first link would be a good starting place. Healthy Start is a national program that offers assistance with issues of pregnancy, childbirth, and early childhood.
