I need someone to tell me if all this hardware is compatible together
All right, before I order the $900 package, I would like to know if all these are compatible with each other (Motherboard fit in case, my Hard drives and DVD burners fitting into my case bays, etc.)

All right, so here we go.

The Case: Xion Solaris ATX Mid-Tower Case

The CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

The DVD Burner*: Plextor PX-88oSA DVD/CD Super Multi Writer

Hard Drive**: Western Digital WD5000AAKS Caviar Blue Hard Drive

    Keyboard: Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard

Motherboard: XFX nForce 750i SLI Extreme Motherboard

    RAM: Corsair XMS2 4GB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz

Sound Card: Diamond Xtreme Sound 5.1/12bit Sound Card

Video Card: VGA GeForce 9500 GT Video Card

This is all being bought off tiger direct, and I just need to know if I should proceed. Thanks for any help.

*When I buy a DVD burner, am I set for everything? Will I be able to run discs and DVDs normally, or will I have to buy a separate drive?

**I have another drive, so I am going to have two Hard Drives in my computer. It's a Western Digital, Caviar Blue (so it must have the same dimensions), but is 320GB.

Ya I must agree, you need a better power supply anytime,
Well most of the time, when they include a power supply
With the chassis, its normally a POS, not always, but most
    Times.

What operating system do you plan on running on this system?

That should all fit no problem.

    * Yes, you are set, all you will require is the software
To run the videos you are playing

** Both those drives should have no problem working together

PS: Great keyboard choice, the backlighting is great

Im just curious why you would go with that motherboard ? You might want to look at a 790i ultra instead. Much better board and you can have faster ram DDR3 and support 3 video cards in SLI

To be honest, XFX motherboards are never 100%. I have worked with them and had SLI issues (2 and 3 GPU's... which is a HUGE waste of money). For a motherboard you really don't need anything intense, the more features, the more problems 99% of the time. Personally I use a Gigabyte motherboard and I will never buy another. I typically stick with mid level ASUS boards for reliability. Unfortunately there is always the chance for electronics to go wrong.

I should have asked this first, but what are your intentions with this new PC? What kind of work or play will you be doing with it? Having worked in retail computer sales, this is the most critical question as you could save hundreds if you get a PC for you.
