    Signing your rights over to me
    I have a question my best friend is having a baby want me to have her baby how do we do that

    1, YOU get a lawyer.
    2. SHE goes to counseling about adoption.
    3. She and the father of the child agree to both volutarily relinquish rights so that you can adopt
    4. You ALL go to court, where they relinquish rights and you file for adoption.

    Yes, you MUST have the biological father's permission to adopt. Yes, you DO need a lawyer. And really--it's not fair to your friend to not have her go through some counseling first so that she really understands what giving her child for adoption really means.

    Oh--and be prepared to not be friends anymore if this happens. You'll fight over the child--I guarantee it.

    I think you must also have a clean criminal record and in some states a home study is done
