trane heat
I have a trane xt302c thermostat, trane variable speed air handler I have set the system to heat, the thermostat displays wait, then goes off but no heat is coming out the vents no breakers are tripped and it works fine in a/c mode the setpoint for heat is 72 and the room temp is 65 any ideas?

Trane XV 90 won't heat. Fan runs, but just recirculates the (cold) air. I checked the covers on the unit -- they are in contact with the pressure switch. Brrr. Thermostat set to 68; inside temp is 59.
