Not at fault car accident with insurance, what is the process?
I live in WA state. I was rear-ended, not at fault. We both have insurance. I hit the car in front and that driver contacted 911 and I was taken to the hospital. My car insurance company has paid for repairs to my car after the deductible and related medical bills. The case is not settled. What is the right way to deal with car and health insurance after an accident? It has not gone smoothly the way that I handled it. What is the settling process and what should I do?

If your car insurance paid for your car repair, you allow them to sue the car that hit you to get their money back.

Why did they pay, did the other persons car company refuse to pay

Not sure what you mean what you should do, you have gotten your car repaired and you have had your medical bills paid.

The other persons car company didn't want to pay or even admit fault when the other driver admitted fault, so I ended up going through my own car insurance to repair my car. What does it mean that I allow them to sue the car that hit me?

Only my car-accident related medical bills were paid. My health insurance will not pay my regular medical bills that aren't related to the car accident. I've never had to provide documentation before. My neck and arm pain have not gone away and arthritis in my hip has worsened greatly because of this car accident.

One of the insurance people handling the case from my car insurance company called the other insurance company and did make them admit fault.

OK, your provider needs to pay all your bills relating to the accident. Your health care coverage should pay your bills under the terms of their policy. Both your car insurance and hyealth care carriers, should then be suing the carrier of the car that hit you to get reimbursed for what they have to pay.

If you feel you will have long term medical issues from this, I would highly recommend contacting your own lawyer.
