    I want to change my daughters last name she has a mans last name he's not the father
    I want to change my daughters last name she is 11 months old she has my ex's last name but he is not the father what do I do will I need his permission? Please help!

    A Birth certificate is a legal document. To change one requires a court order. If you ex is listed as the legal father you will need his permission to change the birth certificate.
