    Pseudomonas
My wife had a c-section about 8 weeks ago and since has been battling problems ever since. First a uterus infection and now she has multiple abcess (sp?) that the doctors are trying to fix up but it is slow moving. They can't be drained because they are in a tough position and antibiotics seem to be moving slow (She has been on them a couple weeks and hasn't had a follow up CT scan to see if it is working).

    They think it is pseudomonas.

I was just wondering if anyone had any similar situations or knows anything about it because they are talking major surgery if these antibiotics don't work and I just want to be as informed as possible.

    Thanks

Follow up: I didn't get any responses to my initial question but my wife just went back to the doctor and they think they need to do surgery now. This is such a mess. Should we spend time getting a second opinion? Has anyone had a similar situation with ideas or questions we should ask the doctor?

    Thanks
