    Removing mixet shower valve stem
    Hi,

The Mixet valve in my shower stall needs replacement since turning the temperature control handle is very difficult. The valve stem will not pull out using max force with channel pliers (padded), I can turn the brass screw adjustor and out comes the front part but that leaves the rear portion of the stem in the pipe. I'm quite sure it is a Mixet MS5AT-C 4 1/2" valve cartridge stem model, it says Mixet on the valve. I'm a long-time DIYer but this one has me stumped.

Question: How do I remove the entire valve stem? Is there a puller for this, I've looked online but couldn't find any for this particular problem.

    Thanks,
    Steve
