Do you mean that the toilet FLANGE is broken? If so, is the flange broken at the hole(s) that hold the toilet bolts?
If so, then these can be repaired using a spanner flange.. see image. These are available at all home supply stores. The spanner flange sets in under the old flange effectively "spanning" the break in the cast iron. Insert the toilet bolts before slipping under the broken flange.
Let me know more here...

Youn have a lead closet bend that must be replaced with one made of PVC.(see image). Let me know how the old lead closet bend connects to the cast iron and we'll get started on converting you over to PVC. Does it connect to a hub using a brass ferule? Let me know, tom

Hi tom I've learned that a fernco is the best way to go but I have another problem now the remining lead pipe has a thicker ring of lead around where it broke
What I want to know now tom is there some way to cut this lead behind this ring of lead what should I use as the space is extremely limited but if successful it will leave 2 inches of lead pipe to connect a fernco coupling

Hey Joe,
I want to do away with the lead pipe entirely and convert to PVc at the cast iron. Does the cast iron have a hub? If so it must be cut out and a Fernco Shielded coupling, (see image) used to transition from cast iron to PVC. Let me know if there are more questions. Good luck, Tom

I don't know how good a seal you'll get with a banded coupling on a lead pipe.
Is there nothing you cane open up to get to the hub? Regards, Tom

Any way at all? If not then couple to the lead pipe that you leave stubbed out but leave I\t open so you can spot any leaks. Good luck. Tom
