My father just passed away, while at the funeral home the director had my sister and I both sign as beneficiaries on both policies. Does the insurance company issue us each a check.

My father recently passed away and my sister and I signed as beneficiaries for his two policies. Does the insurance company send each of a check, or is one check issued in both of our names

More than likely they will send one check (for each policy) with both names.
