Gaining custody of niece in nc
My husband and I are trying to gain custody of our 4 year old niece. We rent our home and both make adequate money to support a child. The mother my sister in law does not take care of her she is always underclothed for the weather and has lived in 5 different homes in her short life 3 in this year alone. We have done everything we know to do to help but my sister in law will not see she is doing wrong. What should we do to gain custody?

The first step is a Family Law Attorney. Has your sister in law lost custody or does the child just move in and out of other people's homes?
