    Bryant model 383k
My furnace burners cut on and off when calling for heat. The burner will first glow to light, than the burner will come on and five seconds later the burner will shut back off. It is almost like the furnace is short cycling. I did change the thermostat and the new thermostat is operating the unit in the same way. What other trouble shooting can I perform to get the proper heat to my unit? Why won't the burner continue to stay on until proper heat is applied to this unit? Thank you in advance for your support.

Bryant made a few different versions of that unit. If it has a flame sensor clean it with settl wool or fine sandpaper. If it has a 3 wire piloy tap on it to see if it works.

See link above for flame sensor.
