Like an electric shock below my armpit. I do work out and had shovled a lot of snow.
I work out with weights and do cardio a lot. I have noticed when I run or jump I get like a bee stinging feeling below my arm pit almost where my lat muscle ties in. It does not bother me only when jumping running, if I hold the fat or my chest when running it does not bother me either. I hope someone can help me with this. 29 yrs old male

If the irritation is on your left side, your heart side, you should take it seriously and have it checked out. Age makes no difference to heart problems. I am not saying it is heart problems, it could be a possibility, you could have pulled a lat if you work out, too hard reaching a goal; I would suggest you lay off that side until it heals. I good supplement is glucosimine/controidtin; not expensive and goes by weight. Obtainable in drugstores or healthfood stores. This is in my own opinion, of course, but have worked out for many years and realize your predicment.

Thank you so much it is on my right side. I think I did pull a lat muscle. Is this common with this type of injury? Thanks

Common yes. As I said, lay off that kind of work out for two or three weeks. Give your body a rest !
