Hello, I was just wondering if girls are attracted to taller guys? Im not very tall for a guy, I'm only 5"11 but all my friends are over 6 foot and girls seems to like that more. So i feel inferior to the other guys and i feel short.

I dated this girl once and she was like how tall are you, 6"1? I told her actually I was 5"11 and she seemed disappointed and never talked to me after that. Plus I think that girls are just after tall guys these days and I don't know why. Anyway what do you guys/girls think?

First of all, there is no such thing as a height girls prefer! Girls are different, and so are guys, not everyone likes exactly the same!

Second of all, if a girl doesn't want to be with you because of your height, it's not true love anyway, so why bother?

I think most women just want their mate to be as tall as or taller than they are, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they like "tall" men better than shorter ones. To me, height is really a superficial factor.

I have a hard time understanding why something so natural as attracting a mate seems simple in animals, but so complicated in humans. Why do people have to be so particular? He's too short. She's too tall. Too fat, too skinny, she's crosseyed, he's bowlegged. Give me a break. Discrimination is alive and kicking in our society, but I think it's time to put it in it's place--- buried. The problem with all this is that people who don't pass the physical appearance test do sometimes go dateless, and mateless. This is sad. So many great guys and girls out there are rejected because of their genes. I know looks attract,but what happens to the ones who don't look like supermodels or star athletes? Guess we just don't live in the perfect world, do we?

Well I must say that I like men of your height.. I am 5' 5, so I think that anything taller then that is tall. Lol Everyone like different things. Me, I like 5'10, 5'11. So you got my vote. Not to worry though, there are plenty of woman out there who will like you for you.

You don't ask a woman what she likes, you give her a chance to like you. You have to like yourself first, no matter what she really wants!
