Two night before, my huband hit on the behind to wake me up because I was fighting he, hitting him in his head and back. This just started happening two years ago.
Im not sure what's going on but for years I would not dreams of anything but now I am really concern that I will hurt someone that is very dear to me or even hurt myself. Why am I reacting to these dreams with such outburst?

Do the dreams revolve around one person, or a certain type of person, i.e. someone with control over you like a parent, boss, teacher.

It could be that in your dreams you are fighting them; getting the anger out, and dealt with.

During these sleep cycles when you have memory of physical activity, you do not manifest that. You won't hurt yourself, or anyone in bed with you. These functions are suppressed for a purpose in my opinion, and that is you can dream the actions, but not actually cause any damage in a sleep state.

It is a long time to have a dream, every other night for over 2 years. Try and see if when this is happening to you that you try to remember more detail, either as you are dreaming, or after you immediately wake up, write it out.

If these dreams are harming or changing your normal life and routines because you are pre-occupied with their meaning and severity, I would seek counselling to get a clearer understanding through therapy.

If they are really an annoyance, and you can't figure them out, but it is not impacting your life, try writing them out, and be more observant of your day to day dealings with people. Perhaps you are not handling stress very well, or certain types of people.

It is possible to have leftover, or lingering thoughts from past, similar experiences, that will carry over, even into new situations. What I mean by that is changing jobs for instance, may not help, because the same types of people will be in your life again.

Good luck with any insight into this. I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless it is hindering you in any way.
