I decided to use PEX in my renovation with a manifold/home run set up. Have already pulled all the tubing to each fixture, the manifolds have been mounted and connected, no leaks all is well. I'm undecided on how to handle the termination of each fixture tube. Under cabinets (kitchen island sink, bath vanities) I plan on using PEX to 3/8comp fixture shutoffs since the PEX will be hidden behind the cabinet doors. The toilet supply lines will come up through the floor. What do you suggest I do to pretty that up a little? I'd rather not have the blue pex tube sticking up through the floor, but I don't know if I want to use a PEX to copper stub. Should I switch to copper under the floor or go with one of those finishing sleeves that slide over the PEX for these cases?

If you could come up in the wall and install a pex X 1/2" dropeared Ell,(see image) you could exit with a chrome 1/2" nipple past 1 chrome face plate into a threaded chrome angle stop and sullpy the toilet in the usual way. As it is your best bet would be to sleeve the pex up to a inline pex valve and convert to 1/4" chrome tubing. Good luck, Tom

Of course, the drop ears. Don't know why I didn't think of that. I have a bunch of them for the showers/tub spouts, I can do the same thing here. Thanks for the tip!
