    My MacBook Pro does not recognize CD that come up OK on other Macs
    My MacBook Pro does not recognize CDs that come up OK on other Macs. I have already opened Itunes and the message says, "you have inserted a blank CD" when in fact it is readable on other macs. It seems to read DVD's OK

    Can you give me a little more information, perhaps, what OS version, are you up to date, have you first tried to run a permissions check, if so, did it come up with any errors...
