What wire to disconnect to stop ge electric range timer from going off?
My range works fine, but the oven timer just started going off (not even while cooking) and the dial to turn to stop it is not working. I gained access to the wires for the cook top dials, clock and timer at the back of the range, but do not know which wire to pull in order to "just" disconnect the timer alarm. Can any one tell me which wire I pull or provide me information as to where I might locate a link with a diagram of the wires and what they control? This is an apartment range and I am not able to get maintenance on it until after the weekend. I had to unplug the range in order to get the buzzing to stop - not very convenient when needing to use range. Thanks.
