    Dodge ram Overheating
    Can somebody help me with mi 2002 dodge ram
    Its start to overheat in 5 min.. As soon I press
    The gas. The arrow is right in the middle. As I soon
    I press the gas it will up the skyrocket to the h level
    I try changing the thermostat new and its till do the same
    I try touching the raiator its cool.the hoses they quezcheble
    And I try to pulge the air were is say bleen coolant upper hose
    Can some body help please..

    After it has been running for a while ,have you removed the radiator cap to see if it is really running hot,, could be that the gauge is bad

    The hot coolant could scald a person if the radiator cap is removed from a hot radiator.
    Boiling coolant and steam will be under pressure and injury will very likely result.

    The cooling system inspection and repairs recommended by TxGreaseMonkey should be adhered to.

    Well ofcoarse you have to use common sense and be careful,, most all radiator caps have a first notch that allows the gressure to bleed off before it will spew out all over someone and burn them, use a heavy dry cloth to insulate the hand from the cap.

    If the gauge is bad and its not running hot, there should not be any danger

    Captianrich,, if you go back and read Elcoco said that the radiater was cool to the touch,, I`ve been around town a couple times and I`ve never seen or had a cool radiater scald anyone and also get that hot in 5 minutes.
