Problem gas forced air heater

When I turn thermostat on it clicks, but no heat. My son turned just the fan on it works, he opened door to heater said the pilot light is ignited and first time the burners came on. They then went out and then wouldn't come back on.

I have a Rheem forced air gas furnace. The pilot will light manually and will run properly for a while, but it cuts off before reaching temperature and the pilot goes out. I've relit it several times, but it keeps doing the same thing. Any suggestions?
