    Birth control pill emotional
I was on Allesse birth control pill for 6 years. Then just 2 months ago I switched from the Allesse pill to the Tri-Cyclen pill. After the 1st week of taking the new pills my emotions have been so loopy I don't know what to do. For the past 2 months I start arguments all the time over nothing, I'm always on the defensive side and I cry so much more then I should. I don't remember being this emotional when I first started to take Allese but maybe I was. Does this usually happen? And how long will it last? If it doesn't subside how long should I wait to see a doctor? What are things I can do to keep myself calm?

I've tried tri-cyclen... it didn't work for me. It made me sick and depressed and I stayed on it for 6 months... I currently don't take anything and I find that is the way its got to be, because nothing works for me, it all makes me sick to my stomach.
If this is really upsetting your normal functioning, then you should really give your body and mind a break from it all...

So let me get this straight. A month before posting this, you were 19. You say you were taking Allesse for six years, which means you've been having sex since you were thirteen years old? Lovely.

Have you asked your doctor if your bipolar condition may have something to do with your mood swings, rather than the birth control being the issue?
