Has the machine been properly leveled using a bubble level? Is there anything in the wash drum that makes it off balance? Does this happen when just water is in the drum or water and clothes?

Should my washer drum spin as it pumps out water? [ 5 Answers ]

I have a Kenmore 80 Series washer, model number 100. 16862503. I noticed that when the water is being pumped out the drum is not spinning. After I open and close the lid when it is pumping out the drum starts spinning. Is this a problem I should be concerned with? Mike
