We have been together for two years for no reason he says he needs space,time to find himself,two weeks later a friend pops up of his a female he says its nothing I don't believe it at all he says I did nothing wrong that its him that we had the perfect relationship and that he loves me and wants to be with me but he needs time to think what is that I don't understand if you happy and in love why would you need space and time to think about it.I need help my heart tells me to stay but my mind tells me to go what should I do I cabt wait on him forever and I do love him and I feel like he is the one I'm suppose to be with,but he may not feel the same way I think that for some reason he wants to take this time to be with this new friend to see if he wants her or me help me please!

You already know the answer to this. Your mind has it right and your heart is playing tricks with you. It is best to go to NC and live your life. A relationship is about going through life together and resolving issue "together". Seem like your ex isn't in the relationship anymore and just using the excuse to keep you on the back burner to see how this " new friend" works out. It best to ignore him and trust me your heart will play many tricks on you so let your mind make all the decisions! Hang in there

For one, accept he has doubts, and needs space. For another thing stop talking to him, or contacting him in any way. It may hurt, but will not lead to more confusion, as your in shock over this sudden break up, and confused enough by his actions.

Well you should be, because I think his interest, and feelings for you have changed, and he is letting you go, and its unfair he gets to explore other options, and have you waiting while he does.

Take time for yourself without him, to let your emotional dust settle, and get over the initial shock of the break up. ( sucks we ALL know) and be prepared to find, and do your own thing, and leave him alone.

This will also let you keep your dignity, and self respect, after being dumped, for what ever reasons he gives.

You've become his backup plan. While he's out experimenting with this other girl, he keeps you hanging around so that he can always come crying back to you.

You need to accept his decision and feelings. You can't force him back into a relationship with you. Relationships operate on a two-way street. If he can't put you as his priority, then you're not on the same page anymore. If you're not on the same page, the relationship is over.

Put your foot down. Have some self-respect. Don't be someone's backup plan.
