Smell in my fridge after having my hardwood floors refinished
I recently had my hardwood floors refinished throughout my house. I expected some odor when using the dryer initially however I did not expect the fridge to be affected. Everything in the refrigerator seems to have an odor... even stuff that is wrapped (like a loaf of bread from the freezor) its awful. When I put my face in the freezor I can really smell it. Its as though its coming out of the vent. I am losing my mind sniffing everything!
Could something happened when the floors were done? If yes, how can I get rid of it?

    Thanks

The refrigerator is a sealed box. So I can't imagine any way for outside odors to find their way inside. Something could have went bad in the box and is causing this smell, its its just hard to get the smell out.

Many will tell you, if the lights go out and your food spoils in the freezer, its near impossible to get the odor out.

You can try opening up a box of baking soda in the freezer and fridge, see if that helps. Also inpect for any spilled foods, etc that could have spoiled.

Remember, the fridge won't vent itself, it's a sealed box, it will just take time.
